Warriors from the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine are conducting a counteroffensive operation near Pokrovsk.

This was reported by The Economist correspondent Oliver Carroll on social media platform X and sources in the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

According to Carroll, he received information that the Main Directorate of Intelligence is conducting a "daring counteroffensive" near Pokrovsk to unblock key logistical hubs.

He also released videos showing Ukrainian intelligence operatives disembarking from helicopters.

According to the correspondent, this is happening in areas that Russia claims are under its control.
