Change of tactics on the Pokrovsk direction: Occupiers more often use columns of armored vehicles, – AFU soldier
The Russian occupation army has changed its tactics for offensive operations in the Pokrovsk direction. Specifically, over the past month, the occupiers have started using armored vehicles more frequently in this sector of the front.
Such actions by the enemy indicate attempts to seize territories at any cost. This was stated by Staff Sergeant of the 3rd category from the communications department of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Oleksandr Vovk, during a broadcast on the "Espreso" TV channel as reported.
The enemy is indifferent to its own losses
According to the Ukrainian serviceman, the Russian occupation army has begun to use armored vehicles more often for offensive operations. Over the past month, there have been more frequent cases in the Pokrovsk direction where the enemy deploys columns of equipment for attacks.
"There have been instances where they moved in columns of up to 10 units of equipment. This includes tanks, BMPs, and MT-LBs. In this way, they are likely trying to advance before a certain period, as over time the roads will become more difficult due to worsening weather conditions. So, their main goal now is to move forward at any cost," Vovk noted.
The serviceman also emphasized that Russian invaders act more cautiously when the weather is clear. This is because, under favorable weather conditions, Ukrainian drones quickly detect and destroy the enemy.
"It is important to note that they use equipment even during light rain. However, when the weather is clear, they use it much less frequently. This is because, under such conditions, our drones quickly detect and destroy them," the serviceman added.
