Officer of the AFU: The fall of Pokrovsk is a matter of days, at most two weeks

The fall of Pokrovsk is a matter of just a few days, two weeks at most.

This was stated by a Ukrainian officer from a motorized rifle brigade, which has been based in the city for over a year, in an interview with the newspaper Le Monde.

He criticizes the "mistakes of the command," which have led to Russian troops encircling the city.

«For weeks, there has been no proper supply, and in recent days, the city has been completely isolated. No equipment can get through. A city like Pokrovsk, with its size, numerous high-rise buildings, and factories with strong walls, could hold out for months, even years; it is a true fortress», — the officer notes.

A marine officer, transferred to Pokrovsk this summer, confirms that «the situation is extremely difficult».

«Our unit still holds an area where the enemy has not set foot, but the fighting is becoming increasingly fierce. Within a few days, they have penetrated all parts of the city», — the officer reports.

According to him, Russian forces have a numerical advantage in manpower and drones at a ratio of three to one.

"As soon as we destroy a group of ten fighters, a new one immediately takes their place. We eliminate a drone post? It immediately reappears elsewhere. Their resources seem endless", — the officer emphasizes.
