Russians are actively transferring equipment and personnel to one of the front directions that has become more active recently. The enemy is sending new reserves there and training them at training grounds.
This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko, who noted that the Russians have started using a new tactic in this direction. Fortification structures are also being built there.
Andriushchenko emphasized that the trend of saturating the Zaporizhzhya direction continues, while attention is focused on the north of Donetsk region, particularly Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. However, during this time, the enemy is gradually redeploying forces to Zaporizhzhya.
Naval infantry has been sent there, new units have arrived, and we see filled training grounds from where personnel are planned to be sent to the Zaporizhzhya direction. All of this is moving towards Vasylivka and Orikhiv, – he noted.
Also, in this section of the front, the Russians have changed their tactics. According to the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, they are trying to infiltrate around the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces – along the bottom of reservoirs, using meadows that emerged after the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam.
"This week, a large amount of engineering equipment was sent there. The Russians also brought timber. This is likely related to certain, unfortunately, successes of the Russians in penetrating the area of the former Novopavlivka direction and Hulyaipole," – Andryushchenko stressed.
