New Election Rules: Voting during martial law may last several days and must be completed within a 60-day period

During the elections, there will likely be an opportunity for multi-day voting, and it must be completed within a 60-day period, as in the case of early presidential elections.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine.

Zelenskyy has instructed lawmakers to develop a draft law on the possibility of holding elections during martial law.

The matter is being approached seriously: last week, a working meeting dedicated to this issue took place at Bankova. Preparations for the relevant draft law have begun, aiming to address all issues related to security and beyond. Among the innovations – the possibility of multi-day voting, with the process to be completed within a 60-day period, as in early presidential elections.
