The Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office has reported a suspicion against Kostikov, the Director of the KCSA Department: the discrepancy in the declaration amounted to 22 million
Director of the Department of Industry of Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Kostikov has been served a notice of suspicion for false declaration amounting to 22 million UAH.
In his annual declaration for 2023, the director reported 31 million UAH in savings. According to the investigation, an analysis of his income showed that he could have saved no more than 9 million UAH — even taking into account all earnings prior to his public service career.
In addition, the official purchased an apartment worth 8.4 million UAH, Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and other property. Despite significant expenses, the amount of “savings” in the declaration remained almost unchanged.
Thus, false information amounting to 22 million UAH was included in the declaration. According to the investigation, these amounts may have been reported to facilitate the legalization of expensive acquisitions. Prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office have notified the official of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
