Receipts in your smartphone: the government launches eCheck for convenient returns and warranty claims

The government is launching eCheck — from now on, after paying by card in a store or online, the receipt will immediately appear in your banking app, — Svyrydenko.

Digital receipts will allow businesses to save millions on printing and reduce the use of thermal paper, which cannot be recycled. Customers will be able to store the receipt on their phone and use it for returns, exchanges, or warranty cases.

During the testing phase, both electronic and paper receipts will be issued.
