Divorce by calculation: how MP Puziychuk transferred his construction empire and 38 properties to his ex-wife

At the end of 2023, Member of Parliament Andriy Puziychuk officially dissolved his marriage. Almost simultaneously, a number of companies in which he was previously a beneficiary were transferred to the ownership of his ex-wife.

In the lives of Ukrainian parliamentarians and officials of various levels, an interesting pattern can be observed — immediately after a divorce, the wife of a powerful figure begins to rapidly accumulate wealth. This is exactly what happened in the family of Andriy Puziychuk, a Member of Parliament of the ninth convocation.

At the end of 2023, Andriy Puziychuk officially ends his marriage with his wife Yuliya. Almost in sync with this event, a number of companies, in which the MP had long been a beneficiary, were transferred to the ownership of his ex-wife.

Formally — new surnames appear in the registers. In reality, even the registered address of the supposedly former husband and wife remains unchanged. Moreover — both are still registered in the same apartment in the capital.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Digging deeper, analysts from "StopKor" uncovered a 157-square-meter house in Spain in a prestigious complex on the Costa del Sol, 38 real estate properties, most of which are in the capital and Kyiv region, multimillion-dollar gifts to the MP from his father, and even larger loans to his now ex-wife.

So, is this divorce and change of company ownership just a coincidence? Or is it merely a link in a larger scheme of asset and liability restructuring? In this material, we will reveal the discovered facts, connections, offshore structures, and large. No. Enormous assets.

What does the MP do?

Puziychuk Andriy — a Member of Parliament from the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna" party, a member of the Budget Committee.

Before the 2019 elections, he was engaged in the construction business, and already in parliament, he headed the Temporary Special Commission on investigating corruption in state architectural and construction control bodies.

Previously, he served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Rules of Procedure and Parliamentary Ethics. He is a deputy member of the Permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He is also part of groups for interparliamentary relations with the USA, Italy, China, and Saudi Arabia.

At first glance, Andriy Puziychuk’s public profile looks like a classic story of a businessman entering politics.

However, behind the facade of parliamentary activity lies a complex network of corporate connections, criminal proceedings, offshore structures, and a large-scale redistribution of assets following the divorce at the end of 2023.

Companies associated with the MP

To understand the scale of Andriy Puziychuk’s activities and those of his closest circle, it is worth noting: before the divorce, he was associated not with one or even a few companies — there were nearly twenty. Some of them were transferred to his ex-wife immediately after the marriage was dissolved.

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that the MP works in the Budget Committee, while structures associated with him are mentioned in proceedings regarding possible:

- VAT evasion;

- registration through offshore companies;

- minimization of tax liabilities;

- asset seizures;

- searches conducted within criminal cases.

Specifically:

LLC "Holistic Property Complex 103".

Here, the MP was both a participant and a historical beneficiary. As of November 17, 2023, the ultimate beneficiary is the ex-wife of the figure — Yuliya Puziychuk.

This company has repeatedly appeared in criminal proceedings during the period of official ownership by Andriy Puziychuk, including:

- Case No. 32020100000000196 dated April 13, 2020. According to investigators from the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kyiv, the company’s seal was found during searches in a case involving a scheme to evade taxes and customs duties when importing cars from the EU. This proceeding has now been closed.

- Case No. 42020000000000364 dated February 28, 2020. The Office of the Prosecutor General requested permission for a search at the premises located at Kyiv, Vidradnyi Avenue, 95-A2, which belongs/belonged to LLC "Holistic Property Complex 103". They sought items and documents related to the activities of LLC "Beeline" (code 31243577) and LLC "Avantage-7", which were suspected of forging documents to obtain a license for fuel production.

- Case No. 42015000000000126 dated December 24, 2014. At the premises located at Kyiv, Vidradnyi Avenue, 95, owned by LLC "Holistic Property Complex 103", the State Fiscal Service searched for evidence regarding the involvement of certain companies in a criminal scheme aimed at minimizing tax liabilities.

As for financial performance, after the transfer of management rights to the wife, the company showed a sharp increase — both in the number of employees and in revenue. Net income since 2023 has shifted from negative to a significant positive, reaching several tens of millions of hryvnias.

It has also become known that the company’s asset portfolio includes two vehicles:

Mercedes Benz Vito 116 CDI 2024, valued at an average of $80,000.

Zeekr 7x 2025 gray passenger station wagon, priced at an average of $40,000–45,000.

In addition, there are 9 real estate properties in Kyiv, the details of which are hidden in registers for security reasons during the war.

LLC "Fundamental Development".

The company is also engaged in construction. Until November 1, 2023, Andriy Puziychuk was its participant and beneficiary, after which management was transferred to Yuliya Puziychuk.

The sole founder is the Cypriot company "Kisetorn Limited", which has connections to other offshore jurisdictions, including the Marshall Islands.

According to media reports, the companies are involved in a scheme of developing state defense lands, with risks of profit withdrawal abroad and non-transparent financial flows.

The company was also mentioned in a criminal proceeding by the State Fiscal Service No. 32019100000000455 dated June 19, 2019, regarding a tax evasion scheme.

LLC "KZHBK".

It is featured in media investigations as a company that, together with related structures, received about 1.5 billion UAH in state and municipal tenders.

A significant portion of contracts went to the company of the MP’s brother, Viktor Puziychuk, and its subsidiary "Azur Group", including from "Kyivmiskbud" and the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

The materials describe possible connections of the Puziychuk family with officials from "Zhitloinvestbud" and the entourage of Mykhailo Holytsia, as well as stories of redistributing shares in Housing Construction Combine No. 3 and construction in Poznyaky.

The authors highlight coincidences in personnel appointments, shared partners, and tender decisions that could have influenced the companies’ success in competitions.

Another company managed by the MP’s brother — LLC "Fundamental Auto". It owns 106 vehicles and is mentioned in a case regarding the possible formation of an artificial tax credit of over 14 million UAH.

Among the assets of "Fundamental Auto" are many expensive cars, including:

MERCEDES-BENZ GLE 350D 2018, LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER 2019, TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO 150 2018, TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 2011, LEXUS LX 450 2016.

There are also more affordable models: TOYOTA AVENTIS, NISSAN PRIMERA, ZAZ-DAEWOO LANOS, HONDA ACCORD, SEAT IBIZA, TOYOTA COROLLA, CHEVROLET NIVA, OPEL ASTRA, TOYOTA RAV4 2012, a GAZ 2705 minibus, as well as MAZ cargo trucks and other heavy machinery.

LLC "Fundamental Project"

It appears as a counterparty of the communal enterprise "Zhitloinvestbud-UKB" in a proceeding regarding possible VAT evasion amounting to over 14 million UAH.

LLC "Miralyans"

The company’s land plots were under arrest in the framework of a proceeding by the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding possible misappropriation of property and money laundering.

Hunting enthusiast?

Among Andriy Puziychuk’s corporate list are also hunting-related structures:

Both companies were also transferred to his ex-wife after 2023.

Puziychuk family assets

The assets of the elected official’s family present no less interesting a paradox than the re-registration of companies to his ex-wife immediately after the divorce.

In fact, the MP himself does not own any real estate, while his ex-wife Yuliya Puziychuk owns 38 properties.

Kyiv

● Apartment and non-residential premises in the "Kamerton" residential complex (Richkova St.). ● Apartment in the Welcome Home residential complex on Stetsenka St.

Kyiv Region

● Five land plots on the Dnipro River bank in the village of Yasnohorodka (Vyshhorod district). Among the cadastral numbers — 3221889001:21:083:6013 (a mansion is shown in the photo), 0005, 0001, 0160, 6014. The cost of private houses in this location ranges from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

● Strakholissya (Ivankiv district). Plots of about a quarter of a hectare (3222081401:01:003:0004 and 0005).

● Lebedivka — Riviera Village. Two plots in a premium-class cottage town.

● Vyshenky (Boryspil district). More than 20 land plots in a cottage town, where property prices range from $100,000 to $900,000.

Special attention should be given to a 157 m² house in Spain.

This refers to a property in the prestigious Los Flamingos urbanization — a premium-class golf complex near Marbella, next to the luxurious Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Resort hotel.

In fact, the ownership rights belong to a certain Peter Hjorth, but Puziychuk’s three daughters officially have the right to use this house free of charge.

According to market estimates, a similar property in this location could cost up to 1.45 million euros.

And our analysts have most likely managed to find the exact address of this residence: Calle Padierna 42A, Urb. Los Flamingos Casa 2, Benahavís, Málaga. All thanks to the MP’s ex-wife, who revealed it by ordering parcels with address delivery in her name.

Thus, in practice, the family has access to premium real estate on the Costa del Sol without formal ownership.

As for what can be found in the ownership of Andriy Puziychuk, it includes two-wheeled vehicles:

- Tricycle CAN-AM SPYDER (2017)

- Motorcycle HONDA GOLDWING GL1800 (2013)

He also uses a TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200 (2011) under the right of free use, owned by his brother’s company LLC "FUNDAMENT AUTO". The market value of such a car ranges from $30,000.

Now about the money

The MP’s salary is 631,375 UAH. Additionally, Andriy Puziychuk earned 24,995 UAH as an associate professor at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.

Against the backdrop of such a customary parliamentary salary, gifts from parents stand out:

- 9,000,000 UAH — from his father.

- 130,000 UAH — from his mother.

In cash, Andriy Puziychuk keeps 1,800,000 UAH.

He also has multimillion-dollar loans and credit obligations. Specifically, the MP lent his ex-wife Yuliya Puziychuk:

- 3,030,000 UAH

- 10,168,050 UAH

Totaling over 13 million UAH.

Financial Obligations

- 20,316,648 UAH — guarantee before PJSC "INDUSTRIALBANK".

- 11,695,658 UAH — guarantee before JSC "ASVIO BANK".

- 5,278,000 UAH — obligation to LLC "Housing Construction Company ’FUNDAMENT’".

- 9,000,000 UAH — one-time expenditure under a real estate purchase and sale agreement (06.06.2024).

The total volume of obligations amounts to tens of millions of hryvnias.

What’s the conclusion?

The story of Andriy Puziychuk is not just a case of an MP with a construction background. It is an example of:

- large-scale asset redistribution after divorce;

- concentration of dozens of real estate properties in one person’s hands;

- a corporate group featured in numerous criminal proceedings;

- combining parliamentary work in the Budget Committee with a business environment that deals with public funds.

Formally — an MP without real estate. In reality — a family ecosystem of dozens of companies, hundreds of hectares of land, construction contracts, and international real estate.

And the main question here is not only legal but also reputational: is this just a coincidence, or a well-thought-out model of redistributing risks and assets?
