Deputy Chief of Police of Dnipropetrovsk Region Yuriy Slukhayenko Received Over 2 Million in Social Payments from Dnipro City Council and Purchased an Apartment in Odesa with These Funds

Slukhayenko took up the position of deputy chief in 2024. Prior to this, he held a similar position in the police of Luhansk Region for many years. His wife, Tetyana Slukhyaenko, until recently worked in the State Treasury Service Department in Luhansk but resigned at the end of 2025.

Their daughter, Anastasiya Slukhayenko, followed in her father’s footsteps and started a career in law enforcement. Currently, Slukhaenko Jr. works at the Main Directorate of the National Police of Luhansk Region.

Until recently, Yuriy Slukhayenko did not own any real estate, but in April 2025, he finally purchased a home – an apartment with an area of 84.7 sq. m in Odesa. This property is jointly owned by Yuriy Slukhayenko, his wife, and their adult daughter.

In 2024, Yuriy Slukhaenko received 2,361,839 UAH in social payments from the Department of Social Policy of Dnipro City Council. This amount matches the cost of the new apartment in Odesa purchased by the Slukhayenko family in 2025.

Since 2022, the Slukhayenko couple has been renting an apartment with an area of 50.2 sq. m in Dnipro; however, the law enforcement officer did not declare any rental expenses in his declaration. It is likely that the family continues to rent this housing, as they still do not own any real estate in Dnipro. The reason why Slukhayenko decided to purchase property specifically in Odesa, rather than in Dnipro, where he recently assumed a high-ranking position, remains unknown.

For 2024, Yuriy Slukhayenko received 940,000 UAH in salary, 70,000 UAH in interest from bank accounts, and several social payments, including the aforementioned 2.36 million UAH, which were later used to purchase the apartment for the family.

Tetyana Slukhayenko received 359,000 UAH in salary for 2024. As of the end of 2024, Yuriy and Tetyana Slukhayenko had nearly 7 million UAH in savings combined.

Their daughter Anastasiya received 411,000 UAH in salary for 2024 at the Main Directorate of the National Police of Luhansk Region, 41,000 UAH in interest from bank accounts, and minor social payments. In total, by the end of 2024, she had over 735,000 UAH in personal savings.

By the way, Anastasiya Slukhayenko has not yet submitted a separate declaration on significant changes in her property status, in which she should have reported becoming a co-owner of the apartment in Odesa in April 2025.
