Judge of the HACC Kateryna Sikora filed for divorce to save her husband from mobilization

VAKS Judge Kateryna Sikora used a scheme to evade mobilization for her husband — Oleksandr Sikora.

At the end of February 2025, Sikora filed a lawsuit for divorce in the Lenin (Novokadatskyi) District Court of Dnipro. Lawyer Anetta Serhiyevska notes that since 2019, each spouse has lived their own life, and marital relations were terminated in July 2024.

At the same time, the mother reported that their minor son has been living with the father since 2019, which was confirmed by lawyers during the court hearing. There are no disputes regarding the division of property between the spouses. Further cohabitation and preservation of the marriage are impossible and contradict her interests and the interests of their child. Therefore, she considers it necessary to dissolve the marriage.

The filing of the lawsuit was related to the possible mobilization of her husband, which would become impossible for a single father. Judge H.V. Doroshenko granted the lawsuit. After this, he can freely travel abroad.
