"They kill in a coordinated manner": Zelenskyy stated that Russia is directly involved in coordinating Iranian strikes on American bases

There are reports that Russians are providing intelligence to the regime in Iran to adjust strikes against Americans, and there is also evidence of Russian components in "Shahed" drones used in the Middle East.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening  video address  on Saturday, March 7, thanked every leader and all countries that remember the PURL program, which allows the purchase of American air defence missiles for "Patriots."

"We all understand the risks posed by strikes from Iran and the need for air defence missiles in the Middle East as well. It is important that the protection of life is ensured here in Ukraine too. Especially since we see information about Russian assistance to the Iranian regime: there are reports that Russians are providing intelligence to the regime in Iran to adjust strikes against Americans. There is also evidence of Russian components in ’Shahed’ drones used in the Middle East, which are directed against Arab countries and Americans in the region. Every such fact indicates that we are dealing with regimes that are not just connected to each other but exist thanks to one another—the Russian and Iranian regimes—and they kill in a coordinated manner both here in Europe and there in the Middle East," Zelenskyy noted.

The President added that this is why protection must be coordinated.

"Life in Europe and life in the Middle East deserve equally effective protection. For our part, we are working to help defend against ’Shahed’ drones. It is entirely fair to expect that our defence will also receive appropriate assistance, and that Russia will face consequences not only for prolonging its war against us but also for attempting to escalate that other war," the address further stated.
