Leak of photos and mockery of clients: information about Monobank employees’ internal chats shocks the network
A scandal has erupted online regarding Monobank: users report that bank employees have an internal chat where they share photos of clients and mock them.
In addition, they are discussing the case of a girl who was accused during video verification of having a Russian flag in the background, although she insists it was the flag of Slovenia. The girl explains that in 2023 she left Kharkiv for Slovenia as a refugee, now lives in Germany, and during the verification was in her Slovenian friend’s apartment, where that flag was hanging on the wall. She also emphasized that her father serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so accusations of pro-Russian views are completely incomprehensible to her. Meanwhile, Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky assured that the Russian flag is clearly visible in the video. Online users are also outraged that the bank’s CEO disclosed the client’s personal data and publicly mocked her.

Yesterday, Gorokhovsky posted a photo of the girl who tried to pass Monobank card verification against the background of the rf flag — after which her account was blocked.
