Ukraine’s budget received over 4 billion hryvnias of "Google tax" in two months of 2026

At the beginning of the year, more than 4.2 billion hryvnias of the "Google tax" have already been received into the budget.

This year’s revenues exceed the January-February figure of last year by 0.7 billion UAH. At that time, 3.5 billion hryvnias were paid to the budget, noted the acting head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

"These funds are paid by non-residents who supply electronic services to individuals on the customs territory of Ukraine and are registered as VAT payers. In particular, in January-February 2026, the following was paid: 38.5 million euros and 52.1 million US dollars," she said.

Leading companies in tax payments: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, and Netflix.
