Air Force of the AFU shot down 77 Shahed drones during the Russian night attack

The Russian occupation army once again terrorized Ukraine with drone attacks on the night of March 12. The invaders launched dozens of Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

77 UAVs were destroyed by air defence forces. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 97 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardeyskoye – occupied Crimea, more than 60 of them – «Shaheds».

The air invasion was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, EW subunits and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defence shot down/suppressed 77 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other types in the north, south and east of the country.

16 strike UAV hits were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at one location.
