Hetmantsev threatens gas stations with a fine of 5% of turnover for unjustified increase in fuel prices

Gas stations will pay a fine of 5% of annual turnover if they fail to justify the increase in fuel prices.

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, Hetmantsev, stated this.

The synchronous jump in prices at Ukrainian gas stations by 10−15% has no objective economic basis, he emphasized.

«In fact, you don’t need to be a great specialist to understand that old fuel is still being sold in Ukraine today. Fuel that was made from oil that was cheap before all these jumps», — Hetmantsev says.
