10 visits to the RF after the invasion: Fugitive ex-MP Ivanyuchenko flew to Russia with the "sponsor" of the Russian criminal underworld "Robson"
Former Ukrainian MP from the «Party of Regions» Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, who is wanted by NABU in the case regarding the probable legalization of state lands near Kyiv worth over 160 million hryvnias, received a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation in 2004 in Rostov-on-Don.
According to Schemes (Radio Liberty).
The ex-MP also had at least two foreign Russian passports and used them for trips to Russia. In particular, after the start of the full-scale invasion, he flew there at least ten times.
Earlier, journalists from the «Slidstvo.Info» project reported that Ivanyushchenko regularly flew from Dubai to Russia and that he may spend a lot of time, in particular, in Moscow and Sochi. Journalists found out that Ivanyushchenko crossed the Russian border several times together with Russian businessman Ruben Tatulian, whom the US Treasury Department added to the sanctions list of persons who «provided material support to ’thieves-in-law’», and tickets for the World Football Championship in Russia were issued to Ivanyushchenko using the phone number of Tatulian’s business partner. In Ukraine, Tatulian is under sanctions from the NSDC.
According to data from verified leaks from Russian databases, former MP Yuriy Ivanyushchenko was issued a Russian passport on February 28, 2004, in Rostov-on-Donu. As of the publication date, according to the Russian state portal «Gosuslugi», this document is valid.

The foreign Russian passports that the ex-MP obtained at least twice – in 2017 and 2021 – he used for trips to Russia.
About the fact that Yuriy Ivanyushchenko regularly flew to Russia, journalists from «Slidstvo.Info» previously told in their investigation. The media managed to detail that he flew there at least since 2015 and continued to visit after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
For example, in the evening of February 24, 2022, on the day the full-scale war began, Ivanyushchenko arrived in Moscow on a charter flight from Nice. On March 5 of the same year, he left Russia.
Journalists calculated that since the beginning of the invasion, Ivanyushchenko was in Russia at least ten times: four of them in 2022, five in 2023, and once in 2024. It is not ruled out that he continued to fly to Russia afterwards.

In March 2022, Yuriy Ivanyushchenko crossed the Russian border twice with Russian businessman Ruben Tatulyan. On March 19, they arrived together in Sochi on a charter flight from the United Arab Emirates and returned to the UAE the next day, March 20, on the same flight.
Ivanyushchenko also flew with Tatulyan together on a charter flight from Turkish Bodrum to Russian Sochi in September 2021.

Moreover, according to data leaks about visitors to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, tickets for matches for Yuriy Ivanyushchenko were issued using the mobile number of Tatulyan’s business partner – Andronik Mumdzhyan. His phone number and email address linked to Ivanyushchenko’s personal data are contained in a leak from the Russian Post client database.

At the end of 2017, the US Treasury Department added businessman Ruben Tatulyan, nicknamed «Robson», to the sanctions list along with a number of well-known criminal authorities from former Soviet countries for providing material support to «thieves-in-law». Tatulyan then called claims about his ties to the criminal world «fake». In May 2023, Ukrainian sanctions were imposed against Tatulyan, and later that year, Russian law enforcement declared him wanted in a case regarding probable fraud during the construction of shopping and residential complexes in Sochi.
Analyzing Ivanyushchenko’s trips to Russia, the media paid attention to one of the charter flights. In particular, on September 15, 2021, from Turkey to Russia, two businessmen from the now Russia-occupied Yenakiyeve in Donetsk region – Anatoliy Zuyev and Ilya Podtynnyi – flew with him and Tatulyan. In addition, Ivanyushchenko made flights with each of the businessmen separately.
Zuyev is a co-owner of several companies in Russia that specialize in gas trade, production, installation, and trade of special equipment, including equipment for gas stations. On the website of one of his companies – «Shelf» – it is indicated that among its clients are, in particular, Russian state-controlled «Tatneft» and «Gazprom».
Zuyev’s business partner in most companies, according to the Russian legal entities register, is Teimuraz Kechiyan, who until recently owned companies from the «Shelf» group in Ukraine, which, according to YouControl, also specialize in the production of gas station equipment. Currently, the group of companies is owned by his brother Armen Kechiyan.
The Kechiyan brothers came under the scrutiny of Ukrainian law enforcement in February 2024. Then the Security Service of Ukraine suspected that the brothers’ companies operate in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and pay taxes to the occupation budget.
Ilya Podtynnyi, with whom Ivanyushchenko also flew, also owns a business in Moscow and in the occupied Donetsk region.
Questions regarding the circumstances of visiting Russia and ties with businessmen Tatulyan, Mumdzhyan, Podtynnyi, and Zuyev were sent by the media to Yuriy Ivanyushchenko through his lawyer and are awaiting a response. Journalists also tried to contact Ruben Tatulyan through his former accountant of his companies, but she refused to forward the questions to the businessman. Mumdzhyan, Podtynny, and Zuyev left calls and messages in messengers unanswered.
In September 2025, NABU declared wanted ex-MP from the «Party of Regions» Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, suspected of legalizing 18 hectares of state land worth over 160 million UAH. On October 14, 2025, the HACC chose a pre-trial restraint measure for him in the form of detention. The defence claimed that Ivanyushchenko is currently in France and periodically undergoes medical examinations and treatment in Monaco.
Ivanyushchenko has been notified of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 191 (Embezzlement, misappropriation of property or taking possession of it by abuse of official position) and Part 3 of Art. 209 (legalization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The ex-MP and other defendants in this case have not publicly commented.
Business partner of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, ex-MP from the «Party of Regions» Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, also known as «Yura Yenakievskyi», fled Ukraine after the Revolution of Dignity. He was involved in criminal cases related to embezzlement and misappropriation of property, illegal enrichment, complicity in criminal offenses, due to which he was declared wanted. In 2017, the EU canceled sanctions against Ivanyushchenko due to closure of criminal proceedings against him in Ukraine. Subsequently, he was removed from the wanted list. In 2019, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported the resumption of the criminal proceeding against Yuriy Ivanyushchenko.
In May 2022, Switzerland initiated a procedure for confiscation of Yuriy Ivanyushchenko’s assets worth over 100 million francs.
