In Krakow, immediately after leaving prison, a Ukrainian was detained who scammed Poles out of 140 thousand zlotys

Border guards detained a 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen on March 12 immediately after his release from prison.
The man was serving a sentence for computer fraud related to scamming money using BLIK codes.
According to the investigation, he defrauded 17 people, with total damages amounting to 139,500 zlotys.
The court also ordered him to fully compensate the victims for the damages caused.
After serving his sentence, the man was detained during a check of foreigners’ legal stay, after which a decision on deportation was made.
He was deported from Poland and banned from entering Poland and Schengen countries for 10 years.
