In Ukraine, since the beginning of the war, prices have risen by tens of percent: electricity +178%, gasoline +98%
Electricity prices have risen by 178%, gasoline — by 98%. Experts have calculated the price growth in Ukraine during the full-scale war period.
The largest price increases were recorded for electricity, fuel, and tobacco products, reports the "Center for Economic Strategy".
The cost of food products over the specified period increased by 74%, cigarettes — by 122%. Fruits became the most expensive — by 153%. Fish and fish products rose in price by 104%, butter — by 95%.
Fuel has also become significantly more expensive: prices for gasoline, diesel, and autogas increased by 98%.
Utility services have also become more expensive. Electricity prices rose by 178%. Tariffs for the population were raised twice — in June 2023 to 2.64 UAH per kWh and in June 2024 to 4.32 UAH per kWh.
