About this, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told in an interview with CNN.

"The situation around Iran brings him (Putin, - ed.) more money. The easing of sanctions imposed against Russia also helps him. Our intelligence reports that due to all the sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union, as well as our long-range strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, Russia only in 2026 faced a deficit of over 100 billion dollars," - said the head of state.

Now, according to him, the Russians earned about 10 billion dollars over two weeks of the war in the Middle East.

"This is really dangerous. This gives Putin more confidence that he can continue the war," - emphasized the president.
