Ukrainian Defence Forces thwarted a large-scale offensive operation by Russian troops.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy told about this in an interview with CNN.

"Russia prepared a large offensive operation that they wanted to launch at the end of last year and continue this spring. In response, we conducted our own counteroffensive actions to prevent a large-scale Russian offensive," said the head of state.

According to Zelenskyy, this "was a success not only in terms of territory, but also because of our people, and also because we prevented a large-scale Russian offensive".

"All this became possible to a large extent thanks to our drone technologies. Russia began to lose 30–35 thousand troops per month due to drones – FPV and other types of drones," the president stated.
