New threat to the capital: Russia attacked the center of Kyiv with a "Lancet" drone for the first time

Russia used the «Lancet» drone with artificial intelligence elements against Kyiv for the first time. It was probably launched from the territory of Belarus, — Defense Express.

The remains of the drone that fell near the Independence Monument in the center of Kyiv were preliminarily identified as a «lancet». This is evidenced by the debris and the characteristic X-shaped tail. Probably, this is a new version of the drone capable of independently navigating, detecting targets, and attacking without a connection to the operator.

The official range of the «lancet» — approximately 50 km, the record — 136 km. From the border of the RF to Kyiv — over 200 km, from Belarus — about 90 km. Experts believe that with such a strike, Russia demonstrated new capabilities of its drone attacks.
