"Anti-corruption fighter" with a $4 million estate: Yanukovych-era ex-customs officer Stetyukha sells elite residence in Hostomel
Former tax and Interior Ministry employee claims that all this was honestly earned by members of his family.
One of the most expensive estates on the real estate market is being sold for four million dollars. This is a house with an area of more than a thousand square meters, featuring a large pool and a separate four-story guest house.
"Telegraf" has identified the seller. It turns out to be former tax and Interior Ministry employee Oleksandr Stetyukha. After leaving his job, he founded a public organization (PO) with several former colleagues, which, judging by its name, is supposed to fight corruption in Ukraine. He claims that the estate, along with a number of apartments and parking spaces, was left to him as an inheritance by his wife’s grandmother and grandfather. Read more details in the article.
The assets of the former tax official are impressive
In the suburbs of Kyiv, in Hostomel, a huge house next to the forest is for sale. In addition to the main estate of 1000 sq. m, the property includes a four-story (!) guest house. The estate features: five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, four dressing rooms, and a staff area. The house already has a 90 kW generator.

"This is a premium-level residence created for life without compromises – with high technologies, thoughtful architecture, and an exceptional level of comfort. The property combines the main house, SPA wing, guest house, and a hectare of landscaped territory with water, forming a full-fledged private estate of the representative class," the ad states.
The estate
The house, with an area of about 1000 sq. m, is executed in a classical style with neoclassical elements. The photos clearly show the main living block and the adjacent territory, which resembles a private hotel complex more. There is a huge outdoor pool with multi-level lighting and a relaxation area on the property. Nearby is a separate covered terrace-pavilion with panoramic glazing.

Journalists managed to find the owner of this estate. The house has been owned by Oleksandr Stetyukha and his wife Marianna Yarova since 2023. As stated in the extract from the Real Estate Rights Register, the documents indicate the area of the main house as 989.4 sq. m, the guest house – 374.9 sq. m. There is also a guard house of 34.3 sq. m on the property. Stetyukha’s estate was acquired based on an inheritance agreement.
In a comment to the media, he stated that the inheritance was left by his wife’s grandmother and grandfather. Stetyukha insists that all his assets were obtained through the incomes of his family members. At the same time, he refused to say what business his 48-year-old wife’s grandparents were involved in or whether they owned any companies (and which ones).

Oleksandr Stetyukha registered as an individual entrepreneur only after becoming the owner of the house (in October 2023). It involves a small income, as he operates under the second group of the single tax. According to YouControl data, the man had not been involved in business before. However, he is one of the co-founders of the NGO "Social Institute for Combating Corruption" (more details about this organization – later in the text).
As it turned out, Stetyukha worked in the Main Department of the Interior Ministry in Kyiv and the tax service. In the GetContact service, his number is labeled "Oleksandr Mykolayovych security service of the Ministry of Income," "Olex Myk UBoz," "Oleksandr DVB Minzbory."

The Ministry of Income and Collections was reorganized into the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service. During Yanukovych’s time, the Ministry of Income was headed by Oleksandr Klymenko, who fled Ukraine to the Russian Federation together with the then-president.
The father of the former tax official – 78-year-old Mykola Stetyukha, former director of the now-closed state enterprise "State Specialized Publishing House ’Ukraine’." Back in 2014, Oleksandr Stetyukha bought a small house of 118.4 sq. m on the same street where the estate is located.
But even if the former tax official sells the estate for 4 million dollars, he won’t have to live in the small house. The thing is that the ex-official owns a whole range of other property.
In particular, he owns five parking spaces and three apartments in the "Aristocrat" residential complex in central Kyiv. A square meter without renovation in this complex costs about 2.3 thousand dollars, with renovation – about 3.5 thousand dollars. Parking spaces here are sold starting from 23 thousand dollars. The ex-taxman owns apartments of 111.2 sq. m (three-room), 55.7 sq. m (one-room), and 127.4 sq. m (three-room). The apartments were also registered in 2023 based on an inheritance agreement from 2020.
By the most conservative estimates, Stetyukha owns real estate worth about 780 thousand dollars just in the "Aristocrat" complex. Together with the two houses, his property can be valued at 5 million dollars.
By the way, the neighboring estate of 528.9 sq. m in Hostomel belongs to the 78-year-old father of the ex-taxman. It was registered based on a purchase-sale agreement back in 2014. That is, the wife’s grandmother and grandfather left Stetyukha an inheritance for an estate located next to the house of Oleksandr Stetyukha himself and his father.

Anti-corruption fighters in uniform: who is Stetyukha associated with
Oleksandr Stetyukha is one of the founders and the chairman of the board of the NGO "Social Institute for Combating Corruption." Among his partners in the organization are former colleagues.
Oleksandr Stetyukha’s colleagues
Previously, the NGO was headed by Svyatoslav Dubyna, former head of the departmental ethics department of the Ministry of Income and Collections. Dubyna owns a house of 429.2 sq. m in the village of Rozhivka, Brovary district.
Before working in the ministry, Dubyna served as head of the external relations department of the Main Tax Police Department of the State Tax Service. In 2021, he applied for the position of head of the Bureau of Economic Security.
Another founder of the NGO is Vitaliy Korostelyov, a lustrated employee of the Ministry of Income. He worked in the office serving large taxpayers. Before the ministry, he headed the tax police department in Donetsk region. Since 2013, he has owned a parking space in the elite "Diamant" residential complex. In the same year, Nataliya Korostelyova (likely his wife) became the owner of a four-room apartment of 164.5 sq. m in the "Diamant" complex. Such an apartment now costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. In 2021, a parking space in the same complex was registered to his daughter Mariya (at the time, she was 22 years old).
In 2022, the daughter of the former taxman became the owner of an apartment in the "Boulevard Fountains" residential complex of 125 sq. m and two parking spaces. This is one of the most expensive residential complexes in Kyiv. Such an apartment with parking spaces can cost over 500 thousand dollars.
A blue Mercedes-Benz G 500 ("Gelik") 2019 model year is registered to 73-year-old Valentyna Korostelyova, the mother of Korostelyov. Such a car costs about 125 thousand dollars.

Among the founders of the NGO are also former Interior Ministry employees Snizhana Kurpan, Oleh Kapustynskyi, and Vitaliy Buhay. Journalists failed to find property of Kapustynskyi and Kurpan, but in 2013, an apartment of 144.2 sq. m in the "Zlatoustivskyi" residential complex was registered to Vitaliy Buhay. The cost of such housing now is about 250 thousand dollars.
Thus, all participants of the NGO are former Interior Ministry employees who dealt with economic crime investigations, as well as tax officials. In a comment to the media, Stetyukha stated that he, together with former colleagues, planned to help draft laws (supposedly some of them were even passed by the Rada, but he did not specify which ones).
