Weapons in the "ambulance": in Odesa region, a group of military personnel was detained who sold the arsenal of their own unit

Grenade launchers and assault rifles worth 1.5 million UAH: in Odesa region, a weapons sales scheme uncovered, — National Police.

A group of five servicemen sold weapons and ammunition intended for defense for several months. They had access to the unit’s stocks, stole the arsenal, and sold it — part by mail, part handed over in person.

They were transporting the last batch in an "ambulance" vehicle, disguising the cargo, but were detained exactly during transportation. In total, weapons worth over 1.5 million UAH were seized: grenade launchers, assault rifles, grenades, and ammunition.

Suspicions were announced to all — they face up to 10 years. One of the suspects is also suspected of selling amphetamine.
