Russia mobilizes from 40 to 45 thousand people every month to replenish its army. For Ukrainian forces to hold back, it is necessary to destroy approximately the same number of occupiers.

About this, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in an interview with the New York Post.

"So that the Russian army does not grow, we need to destroy approximately the same number. Destroy only so that Russia does not spread its aggression," - he emphasized.

The President also provided data on the enemy’s losses over the past months.

"Over the last three months, we destroyed 30, 35, and 28 thousand Russians respectively. That’s almost 100 thousand people. Imagine how much Russia is sacrificing for this war," - Zelenskyy added.

As of the morning of March 17, according to the General Staff, the Defence Forces of Ukraine have eliminated 1 280 860 Russian occupiers since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
