Divorce in a few clicks: in May, "Diya" will launch online marriage dissolution in test mode

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has not abandoned the idea of online divorce: the function will launch in «Diya» in test mode in May, reported Deputy Head of the Ministry Zoryana Stetsyuk.

The regulatory framework has already been approved, and the service — is in the final stage of development.

The service will be available exclusively to couples without common minor children.

According to Stetsyuk, Ukrainians have repeatedly asked the Ministry of Digital Transformation to introduce such an online divorce option.

Meanwhile, deputies condemn this initiative, calling it «a shot at the remnants of Ukrainian demography».
