Shahed UAV entered Moldova’s airspace from the Odesa region side

The Air Operations Service of the National Army of Moldova detected a "Shahed"-type drone that violated the country’s airspace. 

This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Prima Sursa government.

As noted, the Air Operations Service of the National Army of Moldova detected at 21:29 a violation of Moldova’s airspace by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the "Shahed" type.

According to air surveillance systems, the drone crossed the state border of the country from the side of the settlement of Komarivka in Odesa region towards the Moldovan village of Shipka.

As noted, the UAV was tracked over the territory of Moldova – it was detected over several settlements, including Dubossary and Orhei.

In response, the civil aviation authority temporarily restricted airspace in the north of the country for 15 minutes.

The drone disappeared from radars near the village of Klisova in the Orhei district.
