"Trilateral talks on the Ukrainian settlement are on pause for now," – quotes Russian media. Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Yuriy Ushakov, added that Russia is in contact with the US on the Ukrainian issue.

Press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitriy Peskov stated that the key topic of discussions for the Russian Federation remains the territorial issue. Moscow hopes to hold the next round of talks as soon as possible.

In a comment to the media, he emphasized that publications in American media about Russia’s alleged closeness to concluding a peace agreement regarding Ukraine, as well as claims about loss of interest after the start of the US and Israel operation against Iran, are complete nonsense.

"No, these are absolutely false fabrications that do not correspond to reality. We have indeed made progress in the rounds of trilateral talks that took place toward settlement. But the main issues that are critical for Russia remain unresolved," – stated the Kremlin press secretary.

Talks in Miami

In Miami (Florida, USA) on March 22, another meeting of the American and Ukrainian delegations took place. The talks recorded "progress in aligning positions" and "narrowing the range of unresolved issues."

The participants focused on issues of reliable security guarantees and the humanitarian track, including the exchange of prisoners of war.

"We have progress in aligning positions and further narrowing the range of unresolved issues," – stated the head of the Ukrainian delegation, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov.

He thanked Washington "for systematic involvement in the negotiation process." "We expect that the achieved dynamics will allow moving to the next stage of meetings," – summed up Umerov.
