Damages of 295 million hryvnias: in Ukraine, an embezzlement scheme in "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" through a network of fictitious firms was exposed

Procurement scheme for «Ukrgazvydobuvannya» exposed, leading to losses of 295 million UAH.

Fictitious companies purchased materials necessary for gas extraction at market prices. They then repeatedly «resold» them to each other. Fictitious deals artificially inflated the cost of reagents by 2-3 times. Ultimately, the products were sold to the state-owned company through a tender at an inflated price.

Manipulations with «shell companies» caused JSC «Ukrgazvydobuvannya» losses exceeding 295 million UAH.
