A trilateral meeting regarding the end of the war in Ukraine will soon take place. The exact format of this meeting has not yet been finally agreed upon.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

«Ending the war and peace in Ukraine - this is the main issue and key task for me, for our negotiation team, for all of Ukraine. Currently, we are engaged in a trilateral process of concluding various agreements. Due to the conflict in the Middle East, our meetings were postponed. The last one took place in video format. We spoke with representatives of the US President’s team and agreed that a trilateral meeting will soon take place, or the American delegation will come to us, and then, probably, visit the neighbors», - Zelenskyy reported.

According to him, the refinement of security guarantees for Ukraine is currently underway, as answers have not yet been found to key aspects: how to ensure funding for the Ukrainian army after the war, how to obtain air defense systems important for European countries and the Middle East, «and the most difficult - the reaction of the United States of America to possible repeated aggression by Russia».
