Situation on the front: Defence forces repelled over 140 attacks

From the beginning of the day on April 10, 148 combat engagements have occurred on the front.

About this the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"The enemy inflicted 54 airstrikes, dropping 167 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 5337 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2187 shellings of populated areas and our troops’ positions," the summary states.

On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions twelve combat engagements took place, three of which are ongoing; in addition, the enemy carried out 121 shellings of populated areas and our troops’ positions, 33 of which – using multiple launch rocket systems, inflicted two airstrikes using six guided bombs.

On the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction the enemy stormed the positions of our units ten times in the areas of the populated areas of Vovchansk, Kolodyazne, Starytsia, Zelenе, Vovchanski Khutory, and Prilipka.

On the Kupyansk direction our defenders successfully repelled three enemy assaults in the areas of the populated areas of Kurylivka and Novoplatonivka.

On the Lyman direction Ukrainian warriors repelled eight attempts by the occupiers to advance near the populated areas of Dibrova, Nadiya, Zarichne, and towards the populated areas of Olhivka, Steпове, Druzhheliubivka, Cherneshchyna.

On the Slovyansk direction Ukrainian warriors repelled two assaults by the occupiers in the Ryznykivka area. On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted no attacks.

The defence forces successfully repelled 17 enemy assaults on the Kostiantynivka direction near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchivka, Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, and Sofiivka.

On the Pokrovsk direction the enemy conducted twenty attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the populated areas of Bilitske, Rodinske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Ivanivka, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Filya, and Novoserhiivka. Two combat engagements are ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today on this direction, 105 occupiers were eliminated and 78 – wounded; seven units of automotive and six units of special equipment were destroyed, one enemy fuel and lubricant storage depot, four guns, twelve units of automotive equipment, and three enemy infantry shelters were damaged. 302 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

On the Oleksandrivsk direction the occupiers five times tried to improve their position, attacking in the areas of the populated areas of Kalynivske, Oleksandrhrad, Sichneve, and Verbove. The outskirts of the populated areas of Kolomiitsi, Velykomykhailivka, and Orestopil were subjected to airstrikes.

On the Huliaipole direction there were 13 attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated areas of Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Staraukrainka, Charivne, and Zaliznychne. The enemy inflicted airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenska, Verkhnia Tersa, Charivne, and Rizdvianka.

On the Orikhiv direction the enemy made one attempt to advance towards the Shcherbaky populated area, and also inflicted airstrikes on the Orikhiv populated area.

On the Prydniprovskyi direction our defenders successfully stopped four assault actions towards the Antonivskyi Bridge.
