Attack amid ’truce’: Russian drone strikes ambulance in Sumy region

On Easter, in the midst of Putin’s "truce", Russian invaders  attacked Sumy region. In the Hlukhiv community, they struck an ambulance, and three medical workers were injured.

About this, reported the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov. The Russians also injured another person in the Sveska community, and destructions were recorded in the region.

After 7 a.m., Hryhorov described how the Russians are observing the "truce".

"This night, the enemy treacherously attacked a medical vehicle. A Russian drone hit the transport in the Hlukhiv community. Three medics were injured", – the official noted.

The injured were men aged 25, 52, and 57 years.

According to the official, the injured were promptly provided assistance. Currently, there is no threat to their lives.

"The enemy cynically continues to attack civilian infrastructure. Be as careful as possible", – Hryhorov urged.

The Russian occupiers also injured a 59-year-old man in the Sveska community, as reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

In total, 23 settlements in the region were under enemy fire during the day.

The occupiers attacked Shostka city, Mykolaivka, Yunakivka, Znob-Novhorodske, Bilopillya, Velykopysarivka, and Berezivka communities.

"Damaged private houses, warehouse and utility premises, a school, and vehicles", – the National Police listed the consequences of the Russian attacks on the region.
