Massive anti-war demonstrations took place in Tel Aviv: «eternal war does not make Israel safer».

In the heart of Tel Aviv, thousands of citizens took to the streets, demanding an end to hostilities and a change in the political course, which the protesters dubbed «eternal war». Demonstrators carried placards with calls to stop the escalation and chanted slogans against further operations in the region, including Lebanon.

According to international media reports, this was one of the most massive actions in recent times, which gathered people with the most diverse political convictions — from human rights defenders to relatives of conflict victims. Participants emphasized that ongoing violence does not strengthen Israel’s security, but on the contrary — increases threats and destabilizes the situation in the region.
