Budanov warned about the approaching “trigger event”, which will turn into a tragedy for Ukraine “without unity”.

“We are again approaching this so-called trigger event, which will require unity from us. Unfortunately, the lack of unity is fraught with disaster”, - he noted in a conversation with Ukrainian media.

As he explained, similar cases have happened before and led to serious consequences.

“I won’t give examples, it’s too sad and unpleasant - look into our recent history, and the answers will come by themselves”, - he emphasized.
