Situation on the front: 55 enemy attacks recorded since the beginning of the day

Since the beginning of the day, the number of aggressor attacks stands at 55.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation on the front line as of 4:00 PM on April 12.

The aggressor is shelling border areas. Today in Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Iskryskivshchyna, and Bachivsk were affected.

On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, the enemy carried out nine shellings of settlements and positions of our troops.

On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy seven times attempted to improve its position in the areas of Synelnykove, Staritsa, Izbitske, and Vovchansk. One attack is ongoing.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice conducted assault actions in the areas of Petropavlivka and Podil. One of these attacks is ongoing.

On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian warriors are repelling two attempts by the invaders to advance toward Lyman.

On the Slovyansk axis, the enemy attacked four times toward Ozerne, Kaleniky, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once in the area of Markove.

On the Kostyantynivka axis, the invaders carried out 11 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, and Kucheriv Yar. One assault action is ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers 14 times attempted to dislodge our warriors from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Bilotske, Rodinske, Myrnohrad, Zatyshok, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, and Novopavlivka. One enemy assault action continues.

On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attacked five times toward the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrhrad, Sichneve, Kalynivske, and Verbove.

On the Huliaipole direction, nine attacks took place toward the positions of our defenders in the areas of Zaliznychne, Staryi Ukrainka, Myrne, Varvarivka, and Huliaipole.

According to the General Staff, on the Orikhiv and Dniprovskyi axes, the occupiers did not conduct assault actions.

On other axes, there are no significant changes in the situation at this time. No enemy advances are being recorded.

Ukrainian troops are wearing down the enemy along the entire line of combat contact and in the rear.
