Sabotage on the railway in the RF: ATESH partisans destroyed a diesel locomotive at an important logistics hub near Rostov

Partisans claimed to have carried out sabotage on the railway in Russia’s Rostov Oblast, as a result of which a diesel locomotive used by the occupiers was destroyed near Likhovskaya station.

This is stated in a message from the «ATESH» movement.

Agents of the movement note that the locomotive was completely disabled and cannot be restored. Meanwhile, the Russian authorities have not officially commented on this information.

According to «ATESH», the Likhovsky railway junction is used for transporting Russian military cargo – ammunition, fuel, and equipment, which may be directed to the Zaporizhzhya axis of the front.

Partisans estimate direct losses from the destruction of the diesel locomotive at more than 150 thousand dollars, but note that actual losses may be significantly higher due to possible disruptions in Russian logistics.

It is noted that disabling the locomotive could lead to delays in movement on the section, as a result of which part of the trains remained in the rear.

«While RZD is looking for a replacement, Russian units at the front remain without the promised ammunition replenishment», – the message states.
