Fugitive oligarch Kurchenko "occupied" a mansion on Patriarch’s Ponds: Moscow neighbors complain about aggressive security

Russian media have begun actively spreading information about a conflict surrounding elite real estate in central Moscow, with the main figure being Ukrainian oligarch-fugitive from Yanukovych’s era Serhiy Kurchenko.

According to reports, the businessman, who has been living in the RF since 2014, has essentially «occupied» a mansion in the prestigious Patriarch’s Ponds district, leading to a serious confrontation with local residents.

Neighbors complain about the aggressive behavior of the oligarch’s security, which blocks free access to adjacent areas and establishes its own rules in public zones.
