Occupiers are using Easter to bring up reserves and strengthen positions, - DeepState

As in the previous year, Russian occupying forces are using the so-called "Easter truce" to improve their positions on the front lines.

This is reported by the monitoring project DeepState.

"As expected, even directly on Easter Day itself, there is no complete truce, and the Muscovites, repeating last year, are using the silence on sections advantageous to them to improve their positions on the front lines," - the message states.

DeepState reminded that the day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had reported that the Russians have violated the "truce" more than two thousand times since its beginning. In particular, the enemy continues to conduct assault actions on certain sections, attempting to capture positions held by the Defence Forces.

Ukrainian fighters respond by inflicting damage and destroying the enemy. Artillery and air strikes, as well as operations of various types of drones, do not cease either.

"However, the enemy uses the opportunity of ’silence’ on certain sections of the front to evacuate the wounded, deliver ammunition, remove the dead (200s), conduct rotations, and strengthen its positions. Where such processes are taking place, the enemy does not conduct assault actions but sends its groups with white flags, as can be seen in the picture. In particular, such actions are actively carried out on the Huliaipole axis, so after the ’Easter truce,’ an intensification of assault dynamics should be expected," - writes DeepState.
