«They don’t abandon their own, they kill them»: Russians eliminated a group of their own prisoners with FPV-drone strikes in Chasiv Yar
Russian occupiers, during the Easter truce, killed three of their own soldiers in Chasiv Yar with FPV drone strikes; these soldiers had been captured and dressed in neutral clothing.
This is reported by the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo Halytskyi, which is holding the defense in this direction.
During the announced ceasefire regime, it was decided to evacuate wounded servicemen from forward positions in Chasiv Yar. They began moving to the rear without weapons, with signs indicating they had received medical assistance, and carrying sticks and white flags.
However, after detecting the evacuation group, the Russians almost immediately attacked it with FPV drones. As a result, none of the three sent wounded individuals reached their destination; all were killed. But it turned out that these were not Ukrainian military personnel, but wounded captured Russians.
"For the safe medical evacuation of personnel from their units, the brigade command decided to dress the RF personnel, who had been captured the day before by 24th Mechanized Brigade fighters, in neutral clothing and conduct a test evacuation and verification of the enemy’s compliance with their own promises," the message states.
Thus, the Russians killed their own comrades-in-arms. According to the brigade, the Russian military personnel killed by the drone strikes were Senior Sergeant Zhuravlyov Stanislav, Private Choshev Alexander, and Junior Sergeant Zaghrebin Andrey.
