Even despite obstacles from the Hungarian authorities, the European Union (EU) will provide Ukraine with a loan of 90 billion euros. In addition, in Brussels, several possible paths have already been developed, and a solution will be found.

About this, as reported by UNIAN, stated Ms. EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Maternova. According to her, the commitment to provide Ukraine with 90 billion euros remains in force, although the process is temporarily blocked by one of the member states.

According to her, the European Union has repeatedly found a way out of similar crisis situations. She recalled the referendum in the Netherlands on the Association Agreement with Ukraine, which was also overcome.

"I am absolutely convinced that these 90 billion will arrive," – emphasized the diplomat, adding that it is only a matter of time.

Maternova noted that formally the decision depends on the EU, however, it is significantly influenced by the positions of individual member countries, which, in turn, react to the situation in Ukraine. She emphasized that support for Ukraine as a state at war remains. At the same time, for further progress towards EU membership, Kyiv needs to continue reforms.

Commenting on the possible continuation of the blockade by Hungary, led by Viktor Orban, Maternova refrained from details regarding the mechanisms for resolving the situation. However, she assured that the European Union is considering several options and is determined to find a solution: "There are several possible paths, and a solution will be found."
