Situation on the front: Over 10,000 violations of the Easter truce by the enemy have been recorded, 107 combat engagements took place

In total, over the past day, April 12, 2026, 107 combat engagements were recorded on the front.

This is reported by the press center of the General Staff.

Shelling

Yesterday, the enemy deployed 7702 kamikaze drones and carried out 1202 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 20 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian Losses

The General Staff reminds that overall, the losses of Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 960 personnel. Also, our warriors neutralized two tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defense system, 1528 unmanned aerial vehicles, 185 units of motor vehicles, and two units of special equipment.

Situation in the North 

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors over the past day, the enemy carried out 20 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas. One enemy assault action was recorded.

Situation in Kharkiv Region

As noted, in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy 11 times attempted to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of Synelnykove, Starytsia, Izbitske, Vovchansk, Lyman, and Tsegelne.

In the Kupyansk sector, the aggressor attacked three times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Podilivka, and toward Zahryzove.

Situation in the East

According to the General Staff, in the Lyman sector, the enemy five times attempted to break into our defenses, attacking toward Lyman.

In the Slovyansk sector, over the past day, our defenders repelled six attempts by the occupiers to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Ozernе, Kalenyk, and Ryzhivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders attacked once toward Markove.

It is also noted that in the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy conducted 15 attacks in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, Kucheriv Yar, and Sofiivka.

«In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 28 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Bilitske, Rodinske, Myrnohrad, Zatyshok, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Novopavlivka», — the message states.

Situation in the South

The General Staff also reports that in the Oleksandrivka sector, according to clarified information, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of Oleksandrhrad and toward Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Kalynivske, and Verbove.

In the Huliaipole sector, there were 12 occupier attacks in the areas of Zаliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Stara Ukrainka, and Myrne.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy conducted no assault actions.

In the Dniprovskyi sector, no enemy attempts to improve its positions were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.

Overall, during the declared ceasefire regime, no missile, air strikes, or kamikaze drone strikes (of the «Shahed/Gerbera» type) were recorded, but at the same time, the enemy carried out 1567 artillery shelling attacks on our troops’ positions; conducted 119 assault actions; and inflicted 9035 kamikaze drone strikes (of which: «Italmas», «Lancet», «Molniya» type — 2205; FPV drones — 6830).

In total, since the announcement of the ceasefire regime, 10,721 violations by the enemy have been recorded.

Ukrainian defenders continue to provide effective resistance across all front line sectors.
