Father of many children vs. TRC: Kyiv resident challenges 56,000 hryvnia fine and account blocking in court

Father of five children Roman Prasad reported that the Desnyanskyi TRC of Kyiv fined him UAH 56 thousand and blocked his accounts before Easter, despite him having a deferment.

«I have an official deferment from mobilization — until the end of the special period. Thus, by law: I am not subject to conscription; they had no right to send me to the MMC; I could not have violated anything. However, at the same time: they issue me a fine; initiate enforcement proceedings; block accounts. Without proper notification. Without evidence. I am filing a lawsuit in court and will challenge this decision», — stated Prasad.
