Frontline situation: Russians conducted 40 attacks and continue assaults on several axes

As of 16:00 on April 14, the Russian army attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 40 times.

This was reported by General Staff of the AFU.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in Sumy region the settlements of Tolstodubove, Bachivsk, Iskriskivshchyna, Kysla Dubyna, Korenok, Budky suffered; Mykhailchyna-Sloboda in Chernihiv region. Under enemy airstrikes were Bulkykove, Novoivanivka, and Pischanе.

On the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers carried out 35 shellings of settlements and our troops’ positions, seven of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems. In Sumy region, our units conducted active operations and had success.

On the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Lyman.

On the Kupyansk direction, one battle with the enemy continues. The enemy is attacking towards Kurylivka.

On the Lyman direction, five enemy assaults took place towards the settlements of Drobysheve and Dibrova, three battles are ongoing.

On the Slovyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice towards the settlements of Ozernе and Riznykivka. One battle is ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted no active operations.

On the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out six attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, and Sofiyivka. One battle is ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers 11 times tried to dislodge our warriors from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetchke, and towards Dorozhniy and Serhiivka. 

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy advanced six times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrhrad, Vorone, Kalynivske, Zlahoda. The outskirts of the settlement of Ivanivka suffered an airstrike.

On the Huliaipole direction, the Defence Forces successfully repelled four enemy attacks in the area of Huliaipole and towards Hirkе. The enemy inflicted airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Novoukrainka, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Rivne, Dolynka.

On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy inflicted airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Omelnyk, Novoivanivka, Komy-shuvakha.

On the Dnipropetrovskyi direction, the enemy conducted one futile assault operation towards the Antonivskyi Bridge.
