Fedorov stated that the losses of the RF army have officially exceeded the rates of Russian mobilization

Russian troops’ losses in the war against Ukraine have reached record levels and already exceed the volumes of monthly mobilization. This was achieved thanks to systematic work — from the introduction of innovations to rational resource management and improvement of technological capabilities.

Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported this. Opening the 34th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, he spoke about the key successes achieved since the previous "Ramstein."

RF losses exceeded mobilization indicators

According to Fedorov, on the front, Ukraine not only holds the defence but also increases pressure on the enemy, making every meter of its land extremely expensive for him. The growth of RF losses has exceeded its ability to replenish forces through mobilization, indicating the gradual exhaustion of the aggressor.

"Russian losses have reached an unprecedented level, exceeding monthly mobilization rates. Every square meter of Ukrainian territory costs the enemy too dearly," — Fedorov emphasized.

Fedorov cited data illustrating the cost of the occupiers’ advance: on average, the Russian army loses 254 fighters per square kilometer, and in Donetsk region this figure reaches 428 people.

Air defence efficiency has significantly improved

The Defence Minister noted that the past winter was one of the most difficult in Ukraine’s history. From November to March, Russia launched 462 ballistic missiles, about 600 cruise missiles, and approximately 27 thousand Shahed drones at our territory, trying to destroy the energy system. However, Ukraine endured.

"We have significantly strengthened air defence: the interception rate of cruise missiles reached almost 80%, and drones — up to 90%," — Fedorov reported.

In addition, Ukraine is putting pressure on the RF economy, particularly the energy sector, disrupting logistics and limiting resources for the war.

The minister highlighted the importance of international assistance, including the supply of missiles for Patriot and the creation of interceptor procurement systems.
