Morning chaos in Dnipro and the surrounding region: two people injured, a burnt-out trolleybus and a damaged school
On April 17, Russia launched a massive strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region — more than 20 attacks with drones, artillery, and missiles. Significant damage has been recorded.
About this reported the head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Oleksandr Hanzha.
Trolleybus depot and high-rise building
In Dnipro, the following were damaged:
- transport enterprise (trolleybus depot);
- residential multi-story building;
- commercial premises.

Hanzha published a photo of the mangled trolleybus — one of the vivid results of the morning strike on the city’s infrastructure.

Two wounded in Dnipro district
The Novooleksandrivska community of Dnipro district also came under attack. There, a gymnasium, private house, and car were damaged.
Two men were wounded.
Nikopol region: five-story buildings and agricultural enterprise
"In the Nikopol region, the Russians hit Nikopol, Marganets, Myrivska, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovsk communities. Infrastructure, agricultural enterprise, five-story buildings, private homes, outbuildings were damaged," — writes Hanzha.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service added, that a fire broke out at the site of the hit on the transport enterprise. It has already been extinguished.
