Sweden will provide Ukraine with 4 billion euros in aid in 2026, — Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Sweden will provide Ukraine with assistance of 4 billion euros this year.

About this, the head of state stated during communication with the media.

"Sweden is one of the five largest donors in supporting our Armed Forces, our population. Only for 2026, Sweden has confirmed support of 4 billion euros. This is very significant support for us, for our defence and the resilience of the AFU. We are grateful for this to the entire team and the people of Sweden," Zelenskyy emphasized.

 Also, according to the president, Ukraine is grateful to Sweden for supporting humanitarian programs, in particular regarding the return of abducted Ukrainian children.

"Also grateful for the new strong program to strengthen the protection of our skies, regarding our future modern air fleet of Gripen aircraft. We are counting on it greatly. We will discuss this with His Majesty, that our pilots will already start training and education this year," he summed up.
