“It’s absolutely not easy”: Budanov calls mobilization problems in the 13th year of the war predictable

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, acknowledged the existence of problems with mobilization but noted that they are entirely expected.

According to him, even the minimal mobilization plan «is achieved with enormous efforts».

«Difficulties in recruiting people for the war after 12.5 years of its continuation – this is a completely natural development of events», – emphasized the head of the President’s Office in an interview with Moldovan media.

He also pointed out that the front line is currently «frozen».

«One can say that strategically the front is standing still. There are tactical maneuvers on both sides, but they do not change the overall picture», – added Budanov.

According to him, the current situation «somewhat resembles» the state of affairs in 2023. Budanov did not go into details.
