Technologies, manpower, and economy: Syrskyi named three key directions of the fight against the RF in the field of UMS
Currently, the Ukrainian military is engaged in a competition with Russian occupiers along three directions.
This is reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi in Telegram .
Syrskyi held a meeting with Ukrainian commanders of various levels.
The meeting also discussed the effectiveness of organizational and tactical decisions in the direction of using Middle Strike drones. About the first results of the work of newly created battalions of unmanned systems (UMS) in territorial defense brigades.
"Reconnaissance and strike drones of fixed-wing and multi-rotor types, FPV drones, radio-controlled and fiber-optic unmanned aerial vehicles, UAV interceptors, ground robotic complexes - we have something to boast about in all these directions," the Commander-in-Chief said.
At the same time, according to him, there is much to work on to address existing problems. This concerns, in particular, procurement, regulatory and financial support for R&D workshops, and organizational and staff changes in UMS units.
"The competition with the Russian aggressor continues along three directions: the quality and number of UMS units, technologies, and economic capabilities. We have no other path than to strengthen the power and efficiency of our unmanned systems to win this confrontation and at the same time preserve the lives of our warriors," Syrskyi noted.
