A 10-year ’Drone Deal’: Ukraine has signed major agreements on defence industry development with Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar
Our country has agreements for 10-year cooperation in the defense industry with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. The Drone Deal, that is, the drone agreements, have also interested other states.
"We already have inquiries from 11 countries – the Middle East and the Gulf, plus we’re slowly looking at the Caucasus," – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported in an interview on the telethon "United News".
He stated that "this Drone Deal will include at least 10 different agreements on the export of Ukrainian weapons."
"The planned cooperation – construction of our production lines both in Ukraine and in other countries. New technologies that we jointly develop with one or another country, in which they invest. And there is an agreement on financing the appropriate volume per year and a fixed number of years," – the president explained.
Ukraine also wants to cooperate with European partners. Work has already begun with Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. According to Zelenskyy, this list will continue.
"Undoubtedly, we have good relations with Britain and France. I am confident that this will also happen there," – said the head of state.
