Scammers are sending fake letters on behalf of Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The President’s Office reports this.

"We urge everyone to carefully check email senders and not trust suspicious senders.

Recently, Yuriy Klufas, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, received such a letter. It contained a request from the alleged head of the President’s Office «to provide active media and information support» for the return of Ukrainian citizens to their homeland.

The letter came not from an official address, but from a mailbox created on a commercial email service: [email protected]. The letter bears a signature that does not belong to Kyrylo Budanov.

All information about the cyber fraud has already been forwarded to the relevant law enforcement agencies", - the OP noted.
