Instead of drones — brands and perfumes: State Financial Monitoring exposed the theft of 800 million hryvnias in procurement for the Armed Forces

Law enforcement officers uncovered a scheme to steal 800 million UAH during drone procurement.

This is reported by the State Financial Monitoring Service.

According to the investigation, the funds were withdrawn through numerous shell companies, drop cards, and fictitious imports. In addition, they were spent on clothing, footwear, and perfumes.

The accounts of the scheme participants have been seized.
